Before you reach for your phone to place another takeout order… pause!

If you’re tired, not in the mood to cook, or just feeling meh about dinner, you don’t have to spend a ton of time in the kitchen—or your money on delivery. These 5 super simple meal ideas are low-effort, satisfying, and way more nutritious than you might expect.
1. Smoothie + Something Crunchy
A simple smoothie with fruit, yogurt, protein powder, and maybe a spoonful of peanut butter + a side of toast, crackers, or granola hits all the bases.
2. Snack Plate Dinners
Think adult Lunchables (or the newly-coined "Girl Dinner"): cheese, fruit, veggies with dip, nuts, maybe a few chips or crackers. No rules, just balance.
3. Rotisserie Chicken to the Rescue
Pair it with pre-chopped salad mix, microwaved frozen veggies, or even a sandwich situation. Done in under 10 minutes max.
4. Breakfast for Dinner
Eggs + toast + fruit = a full meal. Add avocado or sautéed spinach if you have an extra two minutes!
5. The Upgraded Cereal Bowl
Believe it or not, cereal can be a full meal. Some cereal (preferably high in fiber), milk (I whip protein powder into almond milk!), sliced banana or berries, and maybe a sprinkle of chia seeds for some fats is a serious childhood upgrade.
Some days, food is fuel. Some days, it’s comfort. And some days, it’s just about getting something on your plate without stress. That’s still healthy. You don’t need to cook from scratch to nourish your body—just keep it simple, satisfying, and supportive.
